Into Tizen Linux has been ported in a first experimental version on the Nexus 7, the Google tablet which has already been ported to other operating systems such as Ubuntu and Open webOS. The operating system is still in the early stages and has not yet reached stability.

Into Tizen is the heir of MeeGo, the joint project of Intel and Nokia was born from the union of Moblin (Intel) and Maemo (Nokia).
