ASUS PW100: new dock for Nexus 7 (and not only) - Italian Notebook

 ASUS PW100: dock for Nexus 7 (and not only) ASUS has made available two new 7-inch tablet dock: ASUS PW100 is a device for Qi wireless charging while the ‘other is a more traditional docking station specifically designed for the Nexus 7 that recharges and expands the interfaces of the tablet.

Nexus 7 was launched in July 2013 and was, at the time, the best 7-inch tablet for quality / price ratio. After six months, despite the competition (especially China), the Google tablet is still very competitive and users choose this model not only for the reliability of the brand but also to ensure quick and trouble-OS updates. For this reason, ASUS continues to expand the range of accessories for this tablet (and more generally for 7 inch devices), today launched two new dock. ASUS PW100 is a docking for Qi wireless charging, while the second ASUS Dock is addressed solely to the Nexus 7, 2013.

ASUS PW100 connects to any port microUSB and is equipped with its own battery charger via USB. It allows you to position the tablet (or the Nexus 7) in horizontal / vertical for wireless charging, but using the standard Qi , you can charge any device (smartphone or tablet). This dock measure 75 x 55 x 84 mm, weighs 115 grams and consumes 5 watts. We have no information on price and availability.

The second dock, which we call generically ASUS Dock is designed for charging the Nexus 7 (2013) via microUSB. The tablet can be placed either in portrait or landscape mode allowing the user to watch movies, surf the Internet, write emails and chat while charging. At the rear, there is a USB port and an output microHDMI to connect the tablet to a TV screen or PC. The dock measure 218 x 106 x 77 mm and weighs 142 grams. In this case we have no information on price and availability.
