Being past 18 months of the marketing of the Galaxy Nexus, Google has not officially released the new distribution for the third Nexus Android 4.4.2 of the story (smartphone). While at the hardware level problems were practically nil, Google has missed the update, leaving no little bitterness among the users.
Fortunately now there have been the update from XDA with many variants of Android 4.4.2 more or less customized Galaxy Nexus. A few days ago, however, have a new project that allows you to have some sort of official rom completely stock for the Galaxy Nexus based sull’update KOT49H which makes the device almost identical to the Nexus 5.
A ROM which seems very stable and usable everyday. If you are interesting and you have not tried Android 4.4.2 in many variations available for NG, here is the link to the official discussion.
