4 Nexus LTE and LTE Nexus 7: commercial would be a mistake? - Nexus Lab (Blog)

4 Nexus LTE and LTE Nexus 7: commercial would be a mistake?

are our recent articles where there we pointed out the presence of both the Nexus LTE 4, and 7 of the Nexus LTE platform on the AnTuTu benchmark.

It ‘easy to see from the information published in these days, and tests on such sites, as perhaps nor Google will not launch a new 7-inch tablet nor a new smartphone, renewing its current LTE models adding us.

Many users have expressed negatively towards this possible solution, bringing to light the desire to see something new without having to wait until October / November.

Google, in its recent history, has never published the successor of its own Nexus before 12 months have passed, so it seems strange that the Nexus LTE 4 it’s just an adjustment, not a true technological innovation, to meet a need, particularly in more developed countries, where LTE has now become a common standard, but not yet in Italy.

The Nexus LTE 7 instead amazes us a bit ‘, in fact we all expected a new Google Experience tablet, instead we could be faced with just a change of SoC, with the Snapdragon S4 Pro and the addition of compatibility with LTE.

Probably the choice of Google is dictated by the desire to offer a tablet at very low cost by the familiar form and compatible with any network present in the world.

For now we can not really reject these choices, even if it is obvious that we have preferred to have these alternatives since the release of these products.

Of course there is still the unknown X Phone all’orizzont, and over the possible last-minute surprises.
