LG-V510: images and specifications leaked, but it is not ... - Everything Android

transpire in the network the first images of the alleged LG Nexus 8 , which, however, we shall see throughout this article, is not the new 8-inch tablet with Google more than one reason. From the image you see here at the top, in fact, you can see that this device should be launched in two colors, namely black and white. The appearance is identical to that of LG G Pad 8.3 , which is currently being tested and which we will give you a thorough review in a few days.

The abbreviation of this device, as already mentioned in previous articles, is LG-V510 , and has all the credentials to be just the G Pad LTE 8.3 awaited. The WiFi-only version of the tablet is in fact marked by the initials LG-V500 , so very similar and “compatible” with that of this new Android device . Of this tablet, in fact, leaked service manual would reveal that almost all the technical features, but we can be certain that it is not the Nexus 8 . If you look carefully at the image above, in fact, we can see that there is no logo “ Nexus ” and on the back as on the front of the tablet white on the right, this is the company logo ie LG . Always devices Nexus , smartphone or tablet they are, have never had the logos on the front, so we can rule out strongly that this tablet is the Nexus 8 .

Below after the images, we present the characteristics of the tablet:

nexus 8 spec

In summary, we have:

  • battery Li-Ion 4600 mAh, 460 hours on standby, 5 hours to recharge
  • dimensions 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm
  • weight 350 g
  • 8.3 inch TFT LCD display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels)
  • front camera 1.3 megapixel
  • 5 megapixel rear camera
  • WiFi, GPS
  • possibility of inserting SIM (at least it would seem, by the term “Carrier Type”)
  • audio jack 3.5 mm 4-pole
  • insertion microUSB
  • internal memory of 16 GB
  • 2 GB of RAM (8 GB LP-DDR2)
  • Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy

As we have seen, then, the tablet seems to be equipped with a data network because, between the specifications, reference is made to the phrase “ Carrier Type ” with regard to the WiFi and GPS. Most likely, then, that “ Carrier Type ” is to identify something that has to do with the operator and the determination of the position.

No word yet on when it will be the official announcement of LG-V510 , which currently does not have a name yet, but now the time seems ripe enough for that too.
